Playhouse Laundry Center

The Little Tikes First Washer/ Dryer currently retails for $56.99. I found this one at Goodwill for $11.99, and ordered a second from eBay for $45 (so two for the cost of one brand new). The laundry center is designed to be a washer and dryer, but I wanted my playhouse to have two separate appliances.

The center comes with an attached shelving unit on top and red door handle.

I removed the shelving unit to give a sleeker appearance...

...and repainted the door handle and knob in a pretty blue.

The door handle was a bit of a challenge to remove and replace as it contains multiple screws that have to line up properly. The knob was easy enough- just block off the surface you don't want painted (I used paper towels) and then spray paint in place.

For the fun part, I used my Cricut to cut vinyl stickers for the appliance doors. A "Loads of Suds" for the washer and a "Fluff and Fold" from this SVG Bundle.

I stacked the washer and dryer into the corner of my playhouse to create this adorable laundry center.
