Remember a few posts back when I confessed to my egg collection addiction? I wasn't kidding when I said there were quite a few, take a look:

Pastel Foam Eggs
These are the eggs that Baby Girl made last year. It was the first year that I purchased and experimented with foam eggs and we used a dye kit marketed for dying real eggs. The colors came out very subtle, even when using vinegar with the dye kit. (With real eggs vinegar is supposed to yield brighter colors)

'Sugared' Pastels
I have 24 'sugared' eggs. These are the eggs that will be filled for Baby Girl to find on Easter morning.
I have separate eggs for each of the kids. I think it makes the holiday more fun, as in everybody gets 24, clearly marked eggs....no squabbling! ;)

Large Pastels
These are the eggs that I use for our glow in the dark egg hunt - more on that coming soon!
Glittery Brights
Large With Fun Prints
Large Striped
These actually come apart in three separate pieces so you can mix and match the colors. I found them treasure hunting a few years ago.
Sweet Treats
You know I have some baked good inspired Easter eggs! These are made to look like ice cream cones, miniature cakes and cupcakes. I love them!
I found these about 4 years ago in the grocery section of Wal-Mart. They came pre-filled with candy and I purchased them on clearance for a couple of dollars after the holiday.
Baby Girl's 2015 Eggs
Baby Girl had a lot of fun painting these eggs this Spring!
You can read more about these eggs by clicking here.
Sports Eggs
These are the eggs that live on the bottom shelf where Little Man can reach. He has fun making a huge mess every day ;)
Camouflage Eggs
I have 24 of these as well. My camouflage eggs are the ones that I will fill for the Little Man to find on Easter morning.
Blues & Greens
I have several sets of eggs that I collected over the years for their different colors and textures. I could display them (the way they were sold) according to type; metallic/ glitter/ etc. but having so many colors mixed together looks cluttered to me ...especially since there are soooo many other eggs already on display.... For that reason I decided to separate them by hue. I have one bowl full of blue/ green, one of yellow/ orange/ gold and one bowl of pink/ purple.
Yellows, Oranges & Golds
Pinks & Purples
That's all of my eggs for now...but I can't promise that I won't take on a few more here and there....heeheehee!
I'll be posting our Easter decor and activities in the next few posts. Until then, enjoy the holiday weekend and thanks for stopping by!
