This might be my best treasure hunting score yet!
Last summer a lady was selling Frozen party decor at her garage sale. She had three grand-daughters that all had summer birthdays and all wanted a Frozen themed party. Since the parties were over, she was selling the leftover decor for $2. Yes, you read that right, two dollars. Baby Girl and I walked away with two large bags stuffed with party decor!
Side Note: I should mention that Baby Girl (immediately after her 5th birthday party) had already decided on a theme for her 6th birthday party. She's a planner like that ;)
You can tell that the party supplies were purchased at different times for different parties. Some of the items are purple and teal with more of an Anna focus. The rest of the decor features shades of blue which is more reminiscent of Elsa. That's ok because I've decided I'm going to combine the two slightly different themes.
I'm really excited to see how it all comes together, but for now take a look at our finds:

Cut-outs & Streamers
Printables
Anna Napkins
Side Note: All of these were already opened (and can't be washed), so I don't feel comfortable using them as napkins. Instead I've got a few ideas of how to turn them into cute party decor.
...stay tuned to see paper napkins up-cycled into party invitations!
Icy Blues
Left: A huge pile of metallic blue garland.
Middle: A bag full of decorative shredded paper.
Right: Blue & white striped streamers.
Snowflakes
So, so many white glittery snowflakes! These are the kind you can buy at the dollar store around Christmas. They are sold flat, but if you slide two together you can make three dimensional snowflakes. (Look closely and you can see a notch in the center of each snowflake).
Baby Girl specifically requested to have a large white snowflake at the top of her cake, so one of these will do nicely. It won't have any glitter remaining after I wash it, but that's ok.
Foam Snowflakes
I plan on using these as table scatter instead of confetti.
(I also used a few last October to Upgrade Baby Girl's Halloween costume. You can see that post by clicking here.)
**********
In addition to the big bag of frozen themed party supplies, we also found a couple of other treasures that will make our party perfect:
Artificial Ice Cubes $3
I plan on using them as table scatter and who knows what else...we will have to see where the day takes me ;)
(I used a handful of these to make a 'bag of ice' to go with last year's Halloween costume. You can click here to read more about that.)
Beaded Garland $1
I'm thinking of incorporating some of this beading into Baby Girl's big party cake. She requested a five layer cake and these colors would be perfect. I'm going to run a few strands through the dishwasher and see how they come out.
If you are keeping track, that's a total of $6 dollars for an entire collection of party decor!
Yay, yay, yay!!!
Come back next week to see a few coordinating finds from Dollar Tree as well as the party invitations.
I hope you enjoyed the post, thanks for stopping by!
