Thrifting Fun

Thrift Store Garage Sale

How is everybody doing amid the Covid-19 lockdowns?
Most of us are stuck at home and while there are so many things to miss, I'm having a particularly hard time going without my treasure hunting
It's April, that's the beginning of prime time garage sale season!  Not only are people not having garage sales, but it's not safe to go to the thrift stores either 😔

But that's ok, this will pass and eventually things will return to normal.
In the meantime, I found an old treasure hunting post from last fall that I never published.
Check it out:

Vintage Tupperware

These lovelies were on the very bottom of a Salt & Light shelf and tucked into the back.
They were also a steal at $1.99 per set!

Note:  I've read that older plastics are not safe for current food use,
so stick to decor with vintage finds like these 😉

Thrift Store Garage Sale
Terracotta

Found while at Goodwill, I purchases this terracotta bake ware for around $3 per piece.  I'll admit, I have absolutely no intention of actually using these items in the kitchen, but I love the rich look of the terracotta 😄

I ended up incorporating them into my outdoor patio decor.

Jadeite

I.  Found. Jadeite!
Both from Salt & Light, the mixing bowl was .99 and the vintage Avon bubble bath jar $1.99!

Ahhh memories....I can't wait until I can find some goodies again.
I hope you liked this treasure hunting post, thanks for stopping by!
