 Fake Bake Tiered Tray Decor

The holiday tree in my breakfast room is my absolute favorite because it's candy themed, along with the rest of the room!  Check it out:

Breakfast Cabinet:

On the cabinet surface is my collection of gingerbread fake bakes.

(Behind the glass doors is my breakfast food, you can see that here)

The large cupcakes are from Dezicakes and the mini I made myself.  I also made the cake pops - you can find my cupcake tutorial here and my cake pop tutorial here.

The gingerbread house was a Michael's find and the pink trees are from Dollar Tree.  The gingerbread cookies are Walmart ornaments that I removed the hangers from.

Moving along to the right you can see a giant gingerbread that I found at a yard sale.  The gingerbread man tray is from Walmart and the milkshake I made like this.  The larger gingerbread house was and Ebay purchase.  You can find my gingerbread man printable here and my gingerbread house printable here.

To the right a bit further is a cake stand with more Dezicakes cupcakes and Walmart Ornaments.  The dark gingerbread men cookies are from Ebay a long time ago.  The gingerbread cake I made by stacking foam rounds (painted in acrylic) and adding lightweight spackle for the icing.

Now on to the tree:

Under this tree is a whole lot of sweet treat themed fun!

The tree itself is packed with ornaments from Dollar Tree, Walmart, yard sales, thrifting, gifts, Hobby Lobby, Michaels or those that I made myself.

I do have this tutorial for the chocolate cupcake ornaments.

The gingerbread birdhouse I found at a thrift store and repainted, I'll share that soon.  The gingerbread pan is a Wilton cookie pan that I spray painted in brown and embellished with puffy paint.  You can see how I made the giant peppermints here and the ice cream towers here.  The giant cocoa is made the same way as the milkshake I linked earlier.  The candy and sprinkle orbs I'll link in a minute.

Under The Tree Middle:

The jar of lollipops are made with clay and you can see how I did it here.  I also have these posts for the gumdrop trees / orbs, the sprinkle trees/ orbs and the icing trees.

Under The Tree Right:

The best part about the right side of the tree is my large gingerbread house.  Recycled from an old dollhouse, you can see how I did that here.

The dresser top is covered with candy themed items.  The cupcakes I made as in the earlier link.  The gumdrops are clay that I painted with acrylic and sprinkled with glitter and the gumdrop printable can be found here.  The tree cakes are also clay, cut with a cookie cutter then painted.  The faux gummy bears are made with hot glue, like this.

Cake Pan Restyle:

From the window is a Christmas tree cake pan that I thrifted then painted.  This Halloween post will show you how.

Buffet Top:

The buffet to is an assortment of cupcakes, cookies and candies.  The cookies are salt dough, made like this and the candies here are made with plaster.  This popsicle post will show you all about the plaster process

And that's my candy land themed breakfast room!

  2. This is so much fun! I especially love all the gingerbread houses. We make gingerbread houses every year, so I have a little "village" of them displayed, along with some non-edible ones (like wood, a candle, etc.) and a faux one would be so fun to add. I'm Pinning this post! Thanks for sharing this post at the Will Blog for Comments #16 linkup. Come share another post or two at #17 which opens December 4. Have a great week.
