Last week I shared a makeover post of the front hall and mentioned that I would detail my ice cream cabinet soon, and here it is:

Here is a shot of the cabinet with the doors open so you can see everything better.  This piece was a thrift store find that you can read more about here.

I was sooooo happy to finally find the cabinet because after moving in to a bigger home, at first we didn't have all of the furniture we needed.  For quite awhile my ice cream treats were waiting like this...

...on the dining table.  It was driving me nuts!
But after finding and refinishing the cabinet, they finally had a home.

I'll break down the photos of my collection shelf by shelf:

I have this post for the plaster popsicles (chocolate pops in the lidded jar)
You can check out this post for the faux milkshakes or this one for how I made the ice cream bowls and cones.

I used leftover spray foam pieces to create the ice cream scoop towers, you can see how in this tutorial.
You can read how I made the sponge popsicles  here.  I also have this posts for faux cupcakes and the fake chocolates on top of the Neapolitan cupcakes were made like  this.  The coordinating Neapolitan cake was made by applying colored spackle to round foam.

The pool noodle popsicles are from the same tutorial as the sponge popsicles and how I made the bin of clay popsicles is shared in this popsicle tutorial.
My big faux ice cream cake is one of my favorite pieces that was purchased from Dezicakes.  You can find a similar one  here and here is the post where I show you how I made the ice cream tray.

Most of my containers , whether milk glass display pieces of the dishes I used for the fake bakes themselves, were picked up at garage sales of thrift stores.  I like adding the plastic coated wire racks to my fake bake storage to give more surface area and dimension to the look.

I have this post sharing my bakery storage and more coming in the future to feature my cakes, cookies, chocolates and breakfast foods.

I think that covers just about everything inside my ice cream cabinet, whew! 😁
