We are moving through spring pretty quickly but before it's gone I want to share with you my current display of seasonal fake bakes. Check them out:

My breakfast room cabinet is stocked with pastel cakes and cupcakes.
These cakes are all Dollar Tree foam rounds that I stacked together with hot glue and covered with spackle 'icing'. Some of the spackle was applied with a knife for a smoother look while others I piped on to get the swirls. For the pastel coloring I simply mixed a bit of acrylic paint into the spackle before applying to the foam. The cupcakes I made like this and then sprinkled on a bit of cinnamon before adding a faux egg.
The colorful cake stands and plates are plain glass thrifted pieces that I upgrade like this.
Moving to the right of the room is the dresser where I keep my collection of cookie cutters.
The cube candies are plaster pieces made with a silicone mold, acrylic paint and puffy paint. This post will show you how you can use plaster and this one will show you how you can use clay. I used to use clay a lot but I think plaster is a lot easier and faster.
The tiny sandwiches are sponges layered with spackle - I have a tutorial post that I'll share in the future.
On the right side of the dresser is a set of trays topped with macarons and cupcakes. The macarons/ macaroons I made with clay using this. Note that some of them have tiny cracks - work your clay thoroughly (knead with your hands) to avoid this or if it is too dry, add a tiny bit of water.
The cupcakes were purchased from Dezicakes, an eBay seller. While the ones pictured here are no longer available, this link will show you yellow cupcakes that are currently listed.
The last stop in the breakfast room is the buffet cabinet.
The right side of the buffet is full of spring time candies, most made with plaster. Some I made with cut up hot glue sticks and you can see how I did it here. All of them are hand painted in acrylic and detailed with puffy paint.
On the right side of the buffet is a grouping of mint chocolate/ St. Patrick's Day items. This jar of candies are also all plaster that I poured into silicone molds, painted in acrylic and then decorated with puffy paint.
The drinks I made like this and the mint cupcakes are another Dezicakes purchase. This particular style is still available and you can find them here.
