They were only $1.99 each and what caught my eye is that this one had a really cute parmesan shaker.
It also had parts to a sub sandwich, but I could see that it wasn't a full set. Luckily, I stumbled upon a couple more bags and was able to piece together the complete set!
Three bags, $6 total.
I opened up the bags and sorted through what I wanted to keep and cleaned it up. Anything I didn't want went back to the thrift store for someone else to enjoy 😊
Here is a close-up of that shaker.
And the complete sub sandwich! As far as I was concerned, the shaker and sandwich alone were worth the $6. Everything else that I kept was a bonus!
I added these toys to my playhouse shed that you can see here.

DeleteThis post made me think of when my girls were little, they had so much toy food. I love the sub sandwich and the ice creams, how cute!
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun?!
DeleteJennifer, too funny! We had some of these foods at school in our Special Ed classrooms!! We used them as part of life skills where students learn about using money to buy groceries and such. Some of the severe students just liked to play with them because they were "food," too! Enjoy those!!!
ReplyDeletep.s. I think you need a little one of your own to come play in your special house. I hope that isn't too personal. <3 My kids were both born in my thirties and my father was adopted plus a cousin and my youngest brother also adopted children. Anyway, thinking of you... <3 I'll be sharing your adventures thrifting at this week's Share Your Style #495 for you.
Big hugs,
Barb :)
Not too personal, no worries! I have a couple of "little ones" already, but at 16 and 12 they aren't so little anymore and don't enjoy my toys! We always wanted two, so our family is complete annnnnnd....I'm actually 45 so nope, no more babies! Lol! Thanks for the kind comments though and for the feature! <3
