Step 1
Inflate a balloon to the size you want and create a cone out of construction paper. This construction paper cone will serve as your template for tracing later. Use tape to hold the cone lightly in place, but not so secure that you won't be able to get it back unstuck in a bit.
Step 2
Clean up your cone by trimming off any excess paper.
Step 3
Untape your cone and lay out flat on top of the paper of your choice. Once positioned, trace your cone template and then cut out (I used standard craft paper).
Step 4
Using a marker, add detailing to your cone cut-out.
Step 5
Using tape, attach your cone to the base of your inflated balloon.
Step 6
Add a 'cherry' on top with a bit of glue and a pom-pom!
Step 7
Attach a length of curling ribbon to the top of your ice cream and hang.
And there you have it, easy to make ice cream cone balloons!
Balloons, curling ribbon, craft paper and pom-poms can all be found at Dollar Tree.
