Halloween Eyeball Plant

Dollar Store Decor

Halloween is near and I can't help but to keep adding to my spooky decor!
After being inspired by this creative post that I found on Pinterest:

I decided to make my own version of the
Halloween eyeball plant, check it out:
(I'm loving the potted bones and carnivorous bush, I may have to make those next 😊)

I started with a faux plant that I already had.  I chose this one because the scrubby condensed shape would make gluing the flowers in easy, and I liked how the terra cotta color would match the roses that I planned to use.

For the eyeballs I used a package of plastic eyes that I bought at Dollar Tree.  These come all blue with red irritation around the iris.  I wanted a mix of brown and blue for my plant, and didn't want the dry eye look, so I changed them up a bit.  Just grab some permanent markers (I used Crayola), flip over the eye and draw a new iris and pupil in the color that you want.

After purchasing a bunch of orange fabric roses, also from Dollar Tree, I pulled off the blooms and glued the newly colored eyeballs into place.

After that it was a simple as gluing the flowers into the plant.
And there you have it, a creepy but fun Halloween eyeball plant!
