Dollar Tree's Spring Wreath Contest - 2020

Create Your Own Spring Wreath

Spring is here along with an opportunity to win a $100 gift card from Dollar Tree!
The rules are simple; make a wreath, submit a photo of your creation to the wreath contest page and then wait to hear the results 😁

The contest description instructs crafters to make a wreath using $1 craft supplies, but also notes that purchase is not necessary.  Personally I like to add a bit more to the challenge and restrict myself to Dollar Tree items only.  And speaking of challenges - my state is currently under a 'stay at home' order so I decided not to venture out to the store.  Instead I managed to put my wreath together using only Dollar Tree items that I already had on hand.  Check it out:

Create Your Own Spring Wreath
Supplies

A willow wreath, glittery foam eggs and a handful of faux leaves
were all that I had needed to pull my wreath together 😊

These particular eggs are usually found as picks, I just removed their bamboo sticks.
And any floral bush will do, just snip off the foliage.

Note:  Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, many items have been suspended from online ordering.

Create Your Own Spring Wreath
Step 1

Using a bit of hot glue I added a small section of leaves to the bottom.

Step 2

A little more glue and I attached a few eggs on top of the leaves.

Step 3

I repeated the process on a smaller scale and there you have it, a simple spring wreath!
