My favorite Disney princess has always been the lovely Ariel 😍
I decided to make up a few decorative canvas pieces using vinyl, here is how easy it was:

I started my project with these Dollar Tree canvases and some gold spray paint.

After spraying the canvases in gold, I used my Cricut to cut out the decals that I wanted in permanent vinyl. For the Ariel silhouettes I did a clip art search and the text I just typed out myself. You might notice that my text lines aren't always grammatically correct - I tend to use capitalization artistically instead of properly, making my decisions on how the piece looks instead of following grammar rules. And then there is the whole problem of losing commas and apostrophes during the vinyl weeding process. If I think it looks ok, I just go with it 😄
Once the vinyl was weeded I used transfer paper to apply the decals to the canvas.

Here are the three silhouette/ text combinations that I came up with:
Look at this stuff isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm a girl... A girl who has... Everything
It's My Collection
And there you have it, easy and inexpensive custom art pieces!
A couple of these I put into my craft room and one now lives in my closet 😎

Love these. I stock up on canvases whenever Michaels has packs of them on sale. What a great way to change up decor. Featuring when my party opens!
