I've heard it said that collecting craft supplies is as much as a hobby as crafting itself and I totally agree! I would also go a step further and add that organizing my treasures is just as much fun. Recently I shared what my craft room looks like, now I want to let you peek inside all of the drawers and cabinets!
Today I'm starting with the jewelry making section, check it out:

I found this cabinet at the thrift store for around $50 and refinished it with white paint. The glass doors were originally clear, but I knew that I wanted to hide what was to be stored inside. A bit of gold spray paint on the inside of the glass did the trick.
Here is the cabinet with the doors opened. The top shelf is all beads and the bottom holds buttons and miscellaneous embellishments. I also have a couple of my Ariel canvas pieces tucked in here. You can read this post to see how I made them.
These photos are all closeups of how I have my things organized and stored. I like to separate items by color and then position them in a rainbow pattern. The multi compartment bead boxes and the jars with white lids are all from Dollar Tree. The rest of the containers are reused candle jars, thrift store/ yard sale finds or the containers that the beads actually came in. I keep a couple of milk glass dishes here as well, ready to hold any beads that I want to work with.

Below the upper cabinet is a set of drawers with another cabinet space. The cabinets and bottom drawer are full of fake bake supplies (which I'll share at another time) but here you can see inside the top drawer:
Inside this drawer is full of tools, wire, hardware and more embellishment pieces.
And there you have it, an inside tour of the jewelry making storage.
